The purpose of this organization is to promote the general welfare of
the marine industry in Vermont. This is to be achieved through mutual
cooperation and an open exchange of information between members, as
well as participation in regional marine trade associations. The
objectives of this organization are as follows:
1. The development of services beneficial to all members such as public relations, legislative lobbyists, and group insurance.
2. The quick distribution of information from state and federal regulatory agencies that apply to the marine trades.
3. The introduction of new legislation and
modification of existing or pending legislation that affects the
boating public and the marine trades in the state.
4. The education of the public in the proper and safe
use of boats and facilities in the interest of public welfare and
preservation of the marine environment.
5. The promotion of activities and information that
increase the public’s awareness of the economic importance of the
marine trades in Vermont.
